Huge selection of ex-demo, ex-display and used machines auctioned

Cheffins will once again be partnering with Ernest Doe to run the timed online auction as part of The Doe Show – the UK’s largest agricultural machinery, construction and groundscare event.

The show will run from Tuesday February 1 to Thursday February 3, with the online auction continuing through Monday February 7.

Cheffins will carry an extensive selection of old demonstration, ex-display and used machines in the Ernest Doe name, as well as tools, parts and accessories.

The timed online auction of over 600 lots will run in conjunction with the live event, with buyers having the opportunity to view items on offer while the auction is in progress, as well as leaving bids during the salon.

Items, which will be auctioned, will be heavily discounted and no buyer’s premium will be charged.

“There is no buyer’s charge – your winning bid is what you pay and we offer free delivery within our Doe shopping area on all items over £2,500 + VAT.

“This will be our 62nd Doe Show and every year it gets bigger and better – the bidding element brings an exciting new dimension to the show with all the machines on display and available for inspection and screens to monitor the progress of the auction.”

Bill King, President of Cheffins, added, “We are delighted to be working with Ernest Doe for the second consecutive year.

“Last year the pandemic brought live participation to the Doe Show to a halt, however, we found the online auction to be a huge success and allowed bidders from around the world to participate in this which is one of the most anticipated events on the machinery industry calendar.

“The joy of this year’s format is that buyers who can attend the event will be able to see the items on offer up close, as well as follow the progress of the auction throughout the show.

“Our team will be on hand and can accept bids on items, answer questions and provide assistance throughout the auction process.

“We will be offering fantastic lots, with a range of high value machines, spares, tools and accessories at all price points which will be set to attract private and commercial bidders from across the UK. and around the world.”

Auction highlights include an old New Holland T8.435 Smartrac demo; a large selection of new and unused grow equipment from Lemken, Dalbo, Bednar and more; and a range of used Case IH tractors.

The catalog will be available via the Cheffins and Ernest Doe websites, with the auction available to bid via https://doeshow.ernestdoe.com or www.cheffins.co.uk.
