Reviewers were quick to praise the machine’s features – with many itching to find out more about the device.

‘Wow! Does it work on bathroom screens?’ asked a man. “I have to buy one as soon as possible.”

“It’s very slow… do you have to control it or can you put it on and go?”

“This is exactly what I need in my life… white noise while I work would be so helpful.”

“Great for those of us with horrible back/shoulder pain,” one woman wrote. “I’ve been looking for one for ages, but until the price drops, my windows will stay filthy!”

But not everyone was impressed.

“I saw them a while ago and wasn’t sure about them…seems it would be quicker to just clean the windows than move them between them,” one woman wrote.

“It’s an insurance claim waiting to happen. I might clean 5-10 windows by the time she finishes one and then you have to wait so you can move on to the next window…it feels like more work than it is not worth it.

“I cleaned all the windows on the ground floor yesterday in ten minutes. It would take two hours to do it all and move it,” said another. ‘Not worth the money.’

“These robots are an absolute headache. It takes so long to tinker, plug and unplug, and it’s also so slow.

“I think I’ll stick to paying a cleaner or doing it myself.”
