Annihilare announces UNC partnership for technology development

LINCOLNTON, North Carolina, August 30, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Following the filing of three additional technology patents, Annihilare today announced its partnership with William States Lee College from the Senior Design Engineering Program of Engineering at University of North Carolina at Charlotte to support a student project working on specialized electronic equipment to improve Annihilare’s on-site generation systems. CEO of Annihilare, Marty Paris explains, “We are delighted to work with the students of Lee College engineering at UNCCharlotte on developing a process chemistry measurement system as part of their two-semester capstone course. Annihilare is also excited to continue building world-class hypochlorous generators, while expanding our intellectual property portfolio. The new patent filings all relate to Annihilare’s on-site generation technology and a new program of hypochlorous acid disinfectant wipes.

UNCC will launch the project this fall semester with students working directly with Annihilare engineers. “Our students gain hands-on experience solving real-world problems leading to usable innovation. We are excited to work with Annihilare and improve on their unique technology,” said jim hartmann – Director, Industrial Solutions Laboratory. Students work with industry partners throughout the fall and will present their project results and compete for awards at the Spring Expo in early 2022.
